Mental 健康 First 援助 (MHFA)

The National Council for Behavioral 健康- Mental 健康 First 援助 training is a public education program that teaches participants how to recognize and respond to the signs of a mental health challenge. MHFA training is appropriate for all and does not require background knowledge in any specific field, yet complements a number of professionals such as educators, allied health workers, 公务员, and anyone who wants to make their community healthier, happier and safer for all.

By the completion of the training, participants will learn how to apply the Mental 健康 First 援助 action plan in a variety of situations, including when someone is experiencing panic attacks, suicidal thoughts or behaviors, non-suicidal self-injury, acute 精神病 (hallucinations or delusions), overdose or withdrawal from alcohol or drug use, and reaction to a 创伤tic event.
